Getting Around the Classic
An event as large as the Georgia Barbecue Classic can seem a bit overwhelming -
where do you go first? Make your first stop the GBC Information Tent, just across
from the Classic Stage and be sure to pick up a copy of The Smokin' Gazette,
our free guide to everything at the festival.
From there it's up to you - do some shopping at the vendor booths, exchange your
sampling tickets for barbecue from one of the Backyard Cooks, or perhaps check out
the fancy rigs over in the Pro Teams area. This year we've expanded the site to
cover twice the area as last year, so there will be plenty of room for everybody.
Above you can see a map of the festival grounds, a version of which is also printed
in The Smokin' Gazette. Cook teams and vendors who would like to see the
details of booth layouts including utilities placement should refer to the
Site Layout.
